Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Oracle PL/SQL Developer. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, and interfaces between applications, while understanding data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. They will also contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability. The role includes guiding and mentoring the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of information technology experience.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience in writing stored procedures and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in software design, development, and support working in SQL.
• Experience in SQL skills in Oracle DB.
• Experience in performance tuning.
• Experience in data modeling and data mapping skills.
• Experience in Unix shell scripting skills.
• Experience in ETL, data stage, Informatica.
• Experience in data analysis.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Additional Information

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Addison, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply.
