Job Description

This is an intern position with someone wanting to grow their portfolio alongside a major production company in NYC, a growing wellness brand, and more. We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage, editing content to produce engaging visual stories, and enhancing videos with motion graphics and post-production techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various multimedia projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and corporate communications, traveling and behind the scenes at NYC EDM shows. Candidates should possess a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for visual storytelling.

Requirements

Duties

• Film and record high-quality video footage using professional videography equipment
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
• Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations utilizing Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator
• Enhance video content through color correction, sound editing, and post-production techniques
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
• Capture professional photography when needed using Adobe Lightroom and other tools
• Maintain organized media libraries and ensure all content meets brand standards
• Stay updated on the latest trends in video production, editing techniques, and multimedia tools

Skills

• Experience with video editing, post-production workflows, and color grading
• Strong videography skills with knowledge of filming techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to create engaging motion graphics and visual effects
• Knowledge of photography principles and camera operation
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through visual media
