Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Branding and Web Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling visual identities, designing engaging websites, and enhancing user experience across digital platforms. This role requires a strong foundation in digital design, interaction design, and web development, with an emphasis on creating accessible and user-friendly digital experiences. The successful applicant will collaborate with marketing and development teams to produce visually appealing and functional digital content that aligns with brand strategies and business goals.

Duties

• Design and develop visually engaging websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Balsamiq to visualize user interfaces and interactions.
• Develop motion graphics and animations using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or Adobe Flash to enhance website interactivity and visual storytelling.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal viewing experiences across all devices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve website functionality and accessibility in accordance with web accessibility standards.
• Maintain and update existing websites built on WordPress, Drupal, SharePoint, or custom CMS platforms like Contentful or Joomla.
• Optimize websites for SEO using best practices in content management systems and analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging visual content including logos, typography, layout designs, and graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Sketch.
• Perform website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, updating plugins or scripts, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Analyze web traffic data to inform design improvements and marketing strategies through data analysis skills and web analytics tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital design, web development (HTML5, CSS3), front-end frameworks (React, Angular), and CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal).
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• Knowledge of interaction design principles, UX/UI best practices, usability testing methods, and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Familiarity with SEO strategies and web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360 for performance monitoring.
• Programming skills in JavaScript, Python (nice-to-have), PHP, SQL databases (MySQL), AJAX, Bootstrap framework, LESS/SCSS stylesheets.
• Ability to perform wireframing and layout design effectively while maintaining brand consistency across all digital assets.
• Understanding of information architecture principles for structuring website content effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing specialists and developers.
• A portfolio demonstrating previous work in web design projects that showcase creativity as well as technical expertise.
