Choreography for Duo InterpretationSearching

I am seeking a choreographer with expertise in contemporary, theatrical, or narrative-driven movement to create original choreography for a high school Speech & Debate Duo Interpretation performance. The movement should support spoken word, emotion, and storytelling, rather than traditional dance. Choreography must be powerful, intentional, synchronized for two performers, and clearly connected to the script’s meaning. Inspiration from modern Black movement styles is welcome, though not required. The project involves custom choreography for around 10–15 labeled sections in an 8–10 minute piece, with requirements for video demonstrations and clear movement notes. The choreography should be strong visually, repeatable, and suitable for competition rounds, staying within competition rules (no lifts or acrobatics), and tailored to two experienced performers who are not dancers. Deliverables include a set of short choreography videos and accompanying notes describing timing and blocking.
