Illustrated map of Saskatoon Saskatchewan

Freelance Digital Illustrator is needed in Canada.

I’m looking for an illustrator to create a colourful, hand-drawn map of Saskatoon, SK as an 11" x 16" poster. The style should be fun, family-friendly, and cartoon-like, while still making the map recognizably Saskatoon. Use a current city map as a reference and base the style on a sample provided (such as the linked example). The map should show the South Saskatchewan River, Circle Drive, all major bridges, 22nd St, 8th St, and 51st street. Include small illustrated icons and labels for our five family homes with a legend, and highlight our current home at Heritage Green in Wildwood. Also, illustrate key locations such as St. Paul’s Hospital, RUH, Parkridge Centre, Luther Care LTC, USask, École Cardinal Léger, École St. Gerard, Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, Kinsmen Park, Berry Barn, Prairieland Park, Western Development Museum, Midtown Mall, and Besbourough Hotel. Ensure correct spelling and clear labelling throughout. The final artwork should be print-ready at 11" x 16", 300 dpi, CMYK, and provided as a layered source file (AI/PSD) and high-res PDF/PNG.
