Job Description

Our client, a forward-thinking creative agency, is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Motion Graphics Designer to join their fully remote team. This role is perfect for a creative visionary who excels at translating concepts into dynamic visual narratives. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing high-impact motion graphics for a variety of clients across different industries, including marketing, broadcast, and digital content.

Your expertise will guide the visual style and quality of motion graphics projects, ensuring they align with client branding and campaign objectives. Key responsibilities include developing storyboards, creating animated explainers, designing lower thirds and title sequences, and producing visually engaging social media content. You will collaborate closely with art directors, video editors, and marketing strategists to deliver cohesive and compelling visual solutions.

As a lead, you will mentor junior designers, provide technical and creative direction, and manage project timelines and deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional skills in motion graphics design, animation, and visual effects, with proficiency in software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

This is a remote-first position, requiring strong communication, collaboration, and self-management skills. You’ll be working with a global team, bringing your creative flair to projects that reach audiences worldwide, and perhaps drawing inspiration from the artistic heritage of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in motion graphics design.
• Exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of motion graphics work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and animation.
• Experience leading creative projects and mentoring junior designers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
• Experience with 3D animation and visual effects is a strong advantage.

Additional Information
