Grocery sites scraper
I am building an app similar to Yuka, a food scanner that provides insights about ingredients. I’d like to create a database of specific categories of food items and ingredients from major grocery retail websites. This involves smart and legal scraping and retrieval skills. I also want this data to be stored in a MySQL or PostgreSQL database. I’d like this work to be done using Python and Django. The end product is a program that takes URLs and scrapes all food items and stores them in the database every time it is run.
