Composer–String Player Needed (10–15 min Score)Urgent
I’m an independent filmmaker looking for a composer who also plays strings (such as violin, viola, cello, or double bass) to create an original, emotionally driven, cinematic score for my film. The project requires around 10–15 minutes of music, built primarily around one or two real string instruments to maintain an intimate, organic and human feel. The music will support key scenes where the anti-hero interacts with a child, balancing tenderness and warmth, and highlighting the emotional story arc without overpowering it. If you can also play piano to add gentle counterpoint to these moments, that’s a plus.
This is a self-funded independent production, so I’m seeking someone who is professional, collaborative, and easy to communicate with. The role is fully remote, with the opportunity to share reference scenes, timings and spotting notes together while working to a locked cut.
