Job Description

This is a remote position. We are looking for 2 Senior FrontEnd Developers with solid skills in creating modern and high-performance interfaces, capable of working on complex frontend architectures and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing advanced user interfaces using Astro, TypeScript, and CSS, ensuring high standards of quality, modularity, and performance. You will integrate interactive components using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte, collaborating closely with designers and backend teams to ensure consistency, usability, and continuity across different application layers. Additionally, you will optimize rendering on both the server and client sides by implementing server-side rendering, static site generation, and targeted performance tuning. You will apply accessibility best practices according to WCAG standards and develop responsive interfaces. Managing the structure of the frontend application to ensure scalability, robustness, and maintainability of the code is also expected. You will actively participate in code reviews, contribute to continuous improvement, define internal standards, and ensure software quality.

Requirements

  • Consolidated experience in frontend development with Astro and Svelte
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with at least one of the major frameworks: React, Vue, or Svelte
  • Familiarity with build and bundling tools (Vite, Rollup, ESBuild)
  • In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, server-side rendering, and static site generation
  • Familiarity with CSS utility-first frameworks, particularly TailwindCSS
  • Experience integrating with REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG)

Location

Rome (Laurentina area), initially on-site for the startup period, subsequently remote.

Availability

Start within a maximum of 30 days. Minimum expected duration: 1 year.
