Job Description

Hiring: SQL Developer / Programmer Analyst
Location: Montgomery, Alabama

Work Model: Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, SSIS packages, stored procedures, reports, and database structures to ensure data integrity and optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data issues across ERP, integration, and reporting platforms.
• Build and support application integrations using tools such as Boomi, GoAnywhere, APIs, and file-based transfer mechanisms.
• Test and debug integrations, web applications, and SQL scripts to ensure system reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including interface specifications, process flows, and configuration guides.
• Partner with business users to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Track and document work activities using ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing systems, ensuring clear and auditable technical records.
• Provide system support and knowledge sharing to ensure effective adoption and use of delivered solutions.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a SQL Developer, System Analyst, or Integration Specialist.
• Strong expertise in SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, functions, DML/DDL) and solid understanding of relational database design.
• Experience integrating with or supporting ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, UKG, STAARS, Ivalua, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Experience managing tasks and documentation through ServiceNow or similar platforms.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Boomi, GoAnywhere, APIs, or ETL/integration tools.
• Familiarity with major ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, UKG, or Ivalua.
• Scripting experience in Python, Java, or C# for automation or system optimization.
• Exposure to reporting and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Certifications in SQL Server, Boomi, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with test automation or regression testing tools like TestSavvy.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $46.00 per hour
