Job Description

This is a remote position for the role of Azure DevOps Engineer. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), and CI/CD pipeline development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing cloud-based data workflows, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and reliability across data engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based data platforms.
• Develop and optimize Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB) workflows for scalable data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams to enable continuous integration and deployment for data pipelines.
• Automate data orchestration processes using PySpark and SQL.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune pipeline performance and overall data flow.
• Implement and uphold DevOps best practices, ensuring compliance, security, and operational efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

• Azure Databricks (ADB): Data processing, orchestration, and performance optimization.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF): ETL development, workflow design, and data movement automation.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
• PySpark: Writing, optimizing, and debugging distributed data processing code.
• SQL: Query optimization, data validation, and integration tasks.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Terraform or ARM templates for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, or Data Lake Storage.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Scripting expertise in PowerShell or Python for DevOps automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Azure DevOps with exposure to data engineering workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

Additional Information

• Selected candidates must be willing to visit the Bangalore office once post-selection.
• Vendors must ensure laptop provisioning for the candidate.
