Job Description

We’re a small e-commerce business looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us create educational videos for YouTube and Instagram. You’ll act as our on-camera presenter, following simple scripts to explain our services, how we process orders, and showcase our products. No professional acting experience required – just comfort in front of a camera and a friendly, clear speaking style.

When we’re not filming, you’ll assist with day-to-day office tasks to keep things running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexible work, extra income, and variety in their day. Our office is cozy but busy with parts and tools, so we’ll need your help tidying up and setting up for shoots (no fancy lights or cameras – we keep it simple and real!).

Requirements

• Someone reliable, positive, and not camera-shy – enthusiasm matters more than perfection!
• Basic computer skills for e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Etsy – training provided if needed).
• Ability to multi-task in a small, hands-on environment – we’re a team that wears multiple hats.
• No prior experience necessary, but a plus if you’ve done any social media content, customer service, or office work.
• Available for flexible scheduling (e.g., 10-20 hours/week, including weekends).
• Must be able to work in-person at our office.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Production: Read and act out scripts in short videos (1-5 minutes) educating customers on our processes, services, and products. Be natural and engaging on camera – we’ll provide guidance.
• Office & E-Commerce Support: Help manage inventory, process orders, update our online store, and handle basic administrative tasks like organizing tools/parts or responding to customer inquiries.
• Setup Assistance: Pitch in to make our space video-ready, such as arranging props, cleaning up, or basic filming setup.
• Flexibility: Work on weekends or part-time during the week as needed; start as a temporary contractor with potential for ongoing hours.
