About the Project

We are seeking professional Voice specalists to contribute to the launch of a revolutionary interactive calendar device. Your voice will be crucial in building the core test dataset to fine-tune the device’s voice activation system, ensuring optimal responsiveness for its market debut.

This is a straightforward, high-impact task perfect for an easy earner with a high-quality recording setup. All collected audio data will be used strictly for internal device testing and improvement.

Deliverables

The primary task is to record the wake-up command, “Hey Nori,” 30 unique times.
Your final submission will include:

• 30 Individual WAV Files: Each utterance must be a separate file, meeting technical specs (16kHz, 16-Bit, Mono)
• Accurate Labeling: Files must be clearly labeled according to the variations recorded.
• Variations in recordings: Distance & angle to the microphone, speed & confusion phrases and background noises & varied rooms within a home setting.

Requirements

Participant Requirements
• Age: Must be at least 18 years old
• Accent: Must be a Native Speaker of US English (accent must originate from a US state).

Equipment & Technical Requirements
• Microphone: Must own a high-quality microphone for recording audio, ideally a large-diaphragm condenser microphone (e.g., Audio Technica AT4040, Neumann TLM102, or equivalent professional-grade quality).
• Must be able to move around with the microphone to capture the audio in different locations of your home
• Audio Specs: 16 kHz, 16-bit, Mono, WAV files
