The Opportunity
As a member of a small yet agile animation team, you’ll have a hands-on role in all things motion. You will work on diverse projects that challenge your creative boundaries, creating 2D and 3D assets for various applications, including micro-content campaigns, AR projects, and short animated films.
Requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
- Breaking down scripts into clear and succinct storyboards and refining styleframes.
- Collaborating with the motion design team to helm projects, creating nuanced animations.
- Learning new processes and workflows for animation design across various styles.
- Taking an active leadership role on projects and providing concise feedback to teammates.
- Creating assets and animation (2D or 3D) within established guidelines.
- Offering creative input during preproduction and production phases.
- Staying organized and advising on project costs as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- A portfolio that showcases exceptional motion design across different styles.
- 4-7+ years of experience in a motion design role, including 1+ year in a leadership/senior capacity.
- High comfort with Cinema 4D and Redshift.
- Mastery of the Adobe Suite (AE, Premiere, PS, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of the animation pipeline.
- Excellent design taste that complements motion design skills.
- Experience with XParticles, Marvelous Designer, and/or Houdini is a plus.
- Knowledge of Substance Painter is also beneficial.
- A passion for skill development driven by curiosity.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
