Job Description

CG Life is looking for a seasoned Creative Director, Art with a deep passion for advertising and a genuine enthusiasm for the healthcare and biopharma space. This role is ideal for someone inspired by the science behind the work and driven by the impact it can have on improving lives. The ideal candidate should bring a compelling portfolio filled with smart, creative, and strategically grounded work in biopharma and healthcare, without the ego that sometimes accompanies such achievements.

The Creative Director is expected to be a natural leader and collaborator, managing and mentoring creative teams in the biopharma AOR and DAOR space. They should understand how to build structure, delegate effectively, and foster an empowering environment for creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the creative copywriting team:
• Inspire, direct, and motivate a team of copywriters across several accounts.
• Champion the creative process and toolset evolution for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for creative solutions maintaining quality and strategic cohesion.
• Ensure art direction aligns with brand strategy, product claims, clinical data, and client’s voice.
• Serve as a senior client-facing creative leader, presenting work and building trusted relationships with clients.
• Manage workload challenges and advocate for resources necessary for high-quality work.
• Working with clients and internal teams:
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration within the agency.
• Establish credibility with clients by developing knowledge of their business.
• Champion transformative ideas connected to omni-channel marketing strategy.
• Assist with and present creative ideas to clients and team members.
• Develop and review creative briefs for strategic insight.
• Pitch to high-profile senior clients understanding their motivations.
• Own the creative product through the entire process ensuring excellence.

Requirements

Qualifications and skills for applicants include:

• 8-10+ years of related experience in advertising at a healthcare pharmaceutical agency.
• Skillful execution of art direction across multiple channels including print, video, and digital.
• Strong conceptual skills as demonstrated by a relevant portfolio.
• Ability to understand complex science and technologies for targeted communication.
• Knowledge of agency and creative collaboration processes.
• Skills to present ideas to both internal teams and clients effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Expertise in pharma copy requirements, ensuring compliance with FDA standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat tools.

This offer may vary based on various factors like experience, education, and geographic zone.
