Job Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Photographer to support our team in capturing, and producing high-quality visual content. This role involves assisting with photography, videography, post-production editing possible in the future, and art direction to help deliver compelling images and videos for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in photography, with proficiency in industry-standard tools and a keen eye. Responsibilities
- Assist in capturing professional photographs and videos for client projects, marketing campaigns, and social media content
- Support the setup of lighting, backdrops, and camera equipment to ensure optimal shot quality
- Handle camera and light setup
- Manage color accuracy through effective color management techniques and apply color theory principles to enhance visual storytelling
- Contribute to art direction during photoshoots and video shoots to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes
- Collaborate with the team on social media management by creating engaging visual content for various platforms
- Assist with filming and videography projects, ensuring high-quality footage aligned with project objectives
- Support sales efforts by providing visual assets that meet client specifications and project goals
- Maintain organized archives of all media files for easy access and future use
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong interest in photography
- Knowledge of post-production
- Understanding of color management and color theory principles to produce visually appealing content
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team while also managing individual tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and composition
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in social media management or journalism is advantageous but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
