Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Part Time Event Audio Manager to oversee audio for various events. This role involves managing sound systems, coordinating with event staff, and ensuring high-quality audio experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Public Address System management as well as possess the required equipment (microphones, generator that can work for up to 4 hours, cables, mixing equipment). We can send a full list of equipment. There must be two personnel: an Event Audio Manager and a technician.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio equipment during live events.
• Manage sound levels and signal processing to ensure optimal audio quality.
• Collaborate with event organizers and technical staff to coordinate audio needs.
• Maintain equipment inventory and ensure all gear is functioning properly before each event.
• Ensure all audiovisual activities comply with safety standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in events that require audio.
• Prior experience in event production and AV required.
• Flexibility to work part-time hours weekdays as needed. You will receive at least 2 weeks notice of events. This is a 5 year contract.

Additional Information

Pay: $1,200.00 - $18,000.00 per year
