Job Description

We design, implement, and optimize breakthrough content production models, delivering simplicity, efficiencies, and the connectivity and consistency of content that powers brand growth. Our flexible models combine content experience, production solutions, and global delivery.

We bring ideas to life in all mediums, all channels, and all stages of the production process, utilizing innovative technologies including real-time 3D, virtual production, automation, and generative content.

We are looking for a talented, fast, and collaborative Freelance Motion Graphic Designer/Animator-Beauty to work with our video team. This role involves creating rich animations for client videos, both independently and alongside live action shots. The ideal candidate will be mid to senior-level, quick to adapt to design changes, and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Location: New York, NY

Hourly Salary Rate Range: $70/hr - $75/hr

This role is Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

Responsibilities

• Create animation and motion graphics projects within the video department pipeline.
• Act as a self-starter from concept to execution.
• Work independently and improve upon team members’ concepts and ideas.
• Present the creative vision and business thinking behind concepts coherently.
• Collaborate with creative stakeholders and graphic designers to generate storyboards and graphic assets.
• Understand client-side branding and vision with regards to speed and timing.
• Develop templates and maintain asset libraries for use across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in After Effects, including Boris FX Mocha and Red Giant Universe. Other BCC and Sapphire plugins are a plus.
• Integration capability with Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Blender, and plugins like MoGraph, RealFlow, Trapcode.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop with the ability to transfer layers and effects into After Effects.
• Desire to continually expand repertoire by learning new software and techniques.
• At least 4 years of video/motion graphics experience in a web, broadcast, or marketing firm environment.
• Strong typography, composition, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience with compositing, multi-pass renders, and/or VR workflows is a plus.
