Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-quality video footage for several businesses in the STL area, editing content to produce engaging visual stories, and creating compelling motion graphics on social media. Most projects are short form. You will have a content plan written out for you each week. This role requires a strong eye for detail, current social media trends, proficiency in various editing software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Videographer/Editor will play a key role in producing multimedia content that aligns with our brand and communication goals.

Duties

  • Film and record high-quality video footage using professional videography equipment once or twice a week.
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for multiple platforms using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut, or other editing tools.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects utilizing Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Graphic design experience is a plus for photo posts.
  • Develop creative concepts for video projects, including storyboarding and scripting when necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure videos meet project objectives and brand standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Maintain organized digital files of footage, graphics, and project assets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in video production, videography, and video editing.
  • Experience with Final Cut Pro is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of post-production processes including color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
  • Ability to operate filming equipment such as cameras, lighting, and audio gear.
  • Knowledge of photography principles is desirable.
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous work in video production and editing is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
