We are a distributor of the Ipanema sandal brand in Myanmar and Cambodia, South East Asia. We want to launch our own in-house bag and cap brand with a Brazil-inspired DNA to target consumers of Ipanema and Rider sandal brands in the region. For men’s bags, we are looking for inspiration from best-selling designs of Adidas, Herschel, Nike, Uniqlo, Pantagonia, côte&ciel, and master-piece, while ensuring a unique Brazil touch. Our target cost price is under USD 12 and positioning should be about 25% cheaper than regular Adidas bags, with brand personality matching Rider. For ladies’ bags, we want influence from best sellers of Desigual, Marni, Longchamp, Bimba Y Lola, Marhen J, Kate Spade, Farm Rio, and Cath Kidston, again infusing Brazil DNA with a brand feel akin to Ipanema. The first phase is to create designs for 8 men’s bags and 8 ladies’ bags with the goal of scaling up to 12 men’s and 24 ladies’ designs per season, once the product-market fit is established.
