As a Podcast Engineer, you will be responsible for recording, editing, mixing, and finalizing podcast episodes to ensure optimal sound quality and visual presentation. Your expertise in post-production processes and content creation will be essential in delivering professional-quality podcasts that captivate audiences across various platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in audio engineering with a focus on podcast production or similar media projects.
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer is essential.
• Strong background in post-production techniques including signal processing and sound editing.
• Experience with videography and filming to support multimedia content creation.
• Knowledge of video production workflows from filming through editing and final output delivery.
• Familiarity with content creation strategies for digital platforms and social media distribution.
• Ability to operate professional audio equipment and manage technical setups for recording sessions effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure high-quality output under tight deadlines.

Duties

• Record high-quality audio during live sessions or pre-recorded interviews, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Edit audio and video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid to produce seamless episodes.
• Manage signal processing tasks including noise reduction, equalization, compression, and mastering to enhance sound quality.
• Oversee the filming process when visual content is involved, capturing footage that complements audio recordings for multimedia presentations.
• Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content creators to develop engaging storytelling through effective editing and post-production techniques.
• Maintain organized media libraries and manage digital assets efficiently to streamline workflow.
• Ensure all recordings meet technical specifications for distribution across multiple platforms while adhering to quality standards.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in audio-visual technology, videography, and content creation to continually improve production quality.
