Job Description

The Company Mission Studios is a production company creating television and digital ads for politics. We’re a small shop doing high-profile work. You can see the type of work we do here: missionstudios.tv/work.

As an editor and designer, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the visual identity of an ad from start to finish. We’re always looking to up our game and explore new styles, so if your work doesn’t quite fit our portfolio but you think you can elevate our creative, fire away and reach out. Some things you love: Graphic Design, Typography, Cinema, Photography, Music, Culture & Current Events.

Requirements

We’re looking for an experienced editor and motion graphics designer with a passion for creative work and an interest in Democratic and/or progressive politics. A background in agency/brand work is highly preferred. More than anything, you should have the chops, focus, and desire to create high-quality work in a fast-moving production workflow, all with a can-do attitude.

Though the position is mostly remote, we do prefer someone in the New York area for occasional in-person collaboration meetings. However, that’s ok if you’re not in New York; everyone with a great portfolio will be considered. You must be authorized to work in the United States. Freelance and short-term contract positions are available. Please send links to your portfolio with complete works (ad/promos/videos).
