This is a full-time on-site role for a Freelance Developer at Beataboutmusic, located in Plymouth, throughout January. The Freelance Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions, focusing on technologies such as Node.js, Vue.js, Pinia, SQL, SCSS/SASS, Docker, and Apache/NGINX. Daily tasks include writing clean, efficient code, managing databases, deploying applications, and troubleshooting issues. The role requires close collaboration with a creative and dedicated team, contributing to projects that push boundaries in the music industry. Collaboration will be directly with the CTO, James, ideally in-person, with weekly check-ins and asynchronous updates via Slack/Notion. The team values speed, clear communication, and minimal meetings, emphasizing ownership of features rather than micromanagement.
