Job Description

We are assisting a fast growing software development company in the international transport world, which has existed for more than 20 years and still has the spirit of a start-up and a fun work culture. They co-create software solutions for important global market players and benefit from their extensive operational know-how.

In their journey to deliver the newest software solutions, they are looking for 2 x Interim Senior Backend Developers to:

• Drive the solution to a state-of-the-art software engineering stack.
• Help lead the development team together with the colleagues.
• Build multiple, interrelated order and planning solutions that replace legacy systems at their customers and pave the way towards a data-driven future.

Requirements

Ideal Profile:

• .NET (6+), C#
• Non-relational databases (preferably Mongo)
• CI/CD, preferably Docker and Kubernetes
• Event-driven architecture
• Queuing/streaming technology, Kafka or comparable (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc.)
• Familiar with designing, implementing, and maintaining microservices-based systems
• Solid knowledge and experience with Scrum
• A problem-solving and getting-things-done attitude
• The ability to think in the long-term and to make the complicated simple
• Excellent English communication skills
• A high level of eagerness in developing deep domain understanding of a highly complicated logistics/supply chain

If you also have knowledge and/or experience in the following areas, that is a plus:

• Full-Stack (React)
• Domain Driven Design (DDD)
• Leadership skills to manage multicultural and decentralized Scrum teams
• Experience in (tank container) logistics or supply chain

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must live in The Netherlands (this is not meant for people working abroad/remote).
• Dutch speaking is a plus.
