Have you ever looked at a piano and thought “I wonder what goes on in there?”; or heard a piano that sounded awful and thought “I’d like to learn how to fix that!”? Here’s your chance! Jackson Pianos has been lovingly servicing pianos in the St. Louis area for over 20 years, and we’re ready to impart the decades worth of piano knowledge of our team to the next generation of piano enthusiasts. Pay scale will be based upon skill level with much potential for growth. Responsibilities

• Tune acoustic pianos (upright and grand) to professional standards.
• Diagnose and perform repairs and regulation.
• Perform basic voicing and action adjustments.
• Communicate clearly with clients about piano condition and service needs.
• Maintain accurate service records and schedules.
• Travel to client locations as required.
• Handle instruments with care and professionalism.

Requirements

• Formal training in piano technology or equivalent hands-on experience (desired but not required).
• Solid tuning skills (Aural and/or ETD-assisted).
• Knowledge of piano action mechanics.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Professional demeanor and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and maneuver tools and equipment.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
