Job Description

We are looking to widen our base of contractors in the area and working this event could lead to further opportunities for future event assignments in the area. We need videographers for an upcoming showcase tournament in two venues in the Tampa, FL area. The event runs from January 2-4, 2026, with game times varying from starting as early as 7am to as late as 8pm.

Locations include Clearwater Ice Arena located at 13940 Icot Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760 and Tampa Bay Skating Academy at 255 Forest Lakes Blvd., Oldsmar, FL 34677. The rate of pay is $250/day, and you must be able to work as a local in Tampa, FL.

Your position involves providing quality filming of hockey games that are streamed LIVE on FloHockey. You will need to be set up and ready to film at your location 60 minutes prior to the game start time and work closely with the on-site engineer for a high-quality broadcast. Some setup and breakdown of equipment may be required, including taping down cables for safety. All equipment must be kept in good working order, and in case of equipment issues, collaboration with the on-site engineer may be necessary.

Requirements

Experience playing hockey or knowledge of the sport is highly preferred. Video and audio production knowledge are a plus. You should have the ability to work early mornings and late nights, as games may start as early as 7am and end as late as 11pm. Please note that this position requires standing for extended periods of time in cold ice arenas. Indicate in your application the dates of the event you are available.
