Job Description

FRICE Consulting, a leading IT consulting and digital talent recruitment company operating since 2016 in various Latin American countries, is currently seeking a UX/UI Designer for a significant client with operations in multiple countries.

• Country: Chile
• Modality: Remote
• Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
• Work Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday

The objective of the role is to design and evolve end-to-end digital products with a strategic business-oriented focus, aligning metrics, research, and operational needs. The position combines product thinking, data-driven decision making, continuous discovery, and deep research to ensure that solutions deliver real value, reduce friction, and generate measurable impact on the product.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the complete product design process, identifying problems and opportunities, leading Product Discovery sessions, prototyping, and validating solutions in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders, using data-driven decisions.
• Contribute to the Product roadmap from a strategic perspective, proposing priorities that balance user value, business impact, and technical feasibility using frameworks like Impact vs Effort Matrix.
• Formulate and validate design hypotheses using various research methods such as interviews, shadowing, guerrilla testing, surveys, card sorting, usability testing, A/B testing, and KANO analysis.
• Experience in documentation and asynchronous communication of design decisions using video tools like Loom.
• Manage the Content Strategy and UX Writing of the product, ensuring clarity, coherence, and accuracy of language in complex flows.
• Adapt microcopy and terminology for various markets (Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay) and localize content for Brazilian Portuguese, maintaining communication consistency across the ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams (Development, QA, Architecture), participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure proper implementation and governance of components, aligning design with technology.
• Post-launch, monitor product adoption, collecting constant feedback through KPIs, surveys, and user support, attending training sessions if necessary.
• Define relevant metrics, work with BI/Analytics teams, and analyze quantitative and qualitative insights to iterate solutions with a data-driven approach.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI with a product focus.
• Experience conducting in-field and remote research.
• Proficiency in creating deliverables such as User Personas, Journey Maps, Service Blueprints, Usability Test Reports, and User Flows.
• Solid knowledge of information architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in Design Systems in Figma, including component, variable, and token management.
• Experience in metrics analysis, hypothesis validation, and using data to guide decisions.

Desirable Knowledge

• Conversational Portuguese.
• Knowledge of WCAG guidelines.
