Job Description

We are currently looking for a Salesforce Lead Developer for one of our renowned IT clients based in London, UK. This role involves designing, developing, and customizing Salesforce applications to meet business requirements, including hands-on configuration, custom development, and system integrations to deliver scalable and high-quality Salesforce solutions. The position is offered on a fixed-term contract basis and allows for hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce applications to support business processes and functional requirements.
• Configure Salesforce features including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
• Develop and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Create and manage custom objects, reports, dashboards, and automation components.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, or third-party tools.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and support deployments across Salesforce environments.
• Collaborate with administrators, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support ongoing enhancements and maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and customizing Salesforce applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience creating and managing custom objects and data models.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and data migration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation in Salesforce.
