We are seeking an experienced backend and API engineer to help with a personal project involving the processing of authorized data through existing REST API endpoints. Tasks will involve consuming these endpoints with approved authentication, interpreting and processing potentially encoded or structured response payloads, and ensuring that the information is decoded and normalized into clean JSON format. The implementation should support API response handling with low latency, ideally in milliseconds, and must be rate-limit aware to accommodate a high volume of concurrent requests. It is important that the approach is secure, compliant, and well-documented, with a focus on preventing IP blocking and supporting ethical practices such as reverse engineering and automation where allowed. The final solution will be for personal deployment and use.
