Job Description

Total Business Tactics (TBT) is a professional services firm specializing in creative, technical, and strategic solutions for public-sector and mission-driven organizations. We are seeking a skilled Videographer / Video Editor to support a multi-month creative project involving on-location filming and post-production for a public-facing initiative in Hawaii. This contract-based role requires an on-site presence in Hawaiʻi for filming.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage on location (interviews, b-roll, environmental shots).
• Set up and manage lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
• Edit video content into polished, professional final products.
• Apply color correction, basic motion graphics, and captions as needed.
• Collaborate with project leads to meet creative and technical requirements.
• Manage and organize raw footage and final deliverables.
• Adhere to project timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in videography and video editing.
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and sound.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation within Hawaiʻi.
• Availability for on-location filming as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on documentary, educational, or public-sector content.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or light animation.
• Experience collaborating with designers or creative teams.

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
