Job Description

The Photographer/Social Media Director is responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing and social media content at camp, including posting twice a day, creating video yearbooks, blog posts, and Village photos. This position requires the individual to be a creative, innovative, and independent worker.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and videos of campers at activities, meals, cabins, evening program, special events, etc.
• Upload and organize photos and videos to Bunk 1 daily.
• Take and develop Village photos for each session.
• Oversee Facebook, Instagram & TikTok and any other social media platforms.
• Responsible for posting daily and ensuring content aligns with the camp’s brand.
• Work with Village Counselors to create newsletters for each village that is sent to parents.
• Create a slide show yearbook for each session that is shown at Banquet, emailed to parents, and posted on the camp’s YouTube channel.
• Assist with Trading Post.
• Assist with tractor rides.
• Supervise and participate in all assigned aspects of the campers’ day, including camper check-in and check-out, mealtimes, activities, and before/after-hours duties as assigned.
• Attend and participate in All Staff Training.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Previous camp experience or experience working with groups of children is preferred.
• Knowledge in safety, care of equipment and supplies, inventory, and skill instructions.
• Ability to work independently and not require micromanagement.
• Ability to use photo editing software and be computer literate.

Posted Salary Range: USD $245.00 - USD $690.00 /Wk.
