I’m working on a majority of Detroit hip-hop songs with Bay Area style influences, all recorded and mixed by myself. I’m seeking an expert in mix and mastering to deliver a clean but aggressive master that preserves the raw Detroit feel, highlighting hard drums, strong low end, and forward vocals, while keeping the sound from being over-polished. Creative effects like chopped vocals, drops, mutes, and FX transitions are intentional and should be maintained. All files are exported as 24-bit WAV without a limiter on the master.
