Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Photography / Cinematographer with listed IMDb credits on multiple feature films to join our team on an upcoming feature film project. This is a contract position based in Los Angeles, with the potential for a short international shoot.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Photography on feature films, with verifiable IMDb credits
• Must be able to work as a Los Angeles local
• Availability for possible short international travel
• Extensive experience shooting in 4K workflows
• Strong creative and technical command of cinematic lighting, camera movement, and visual storytelling
• Established camera team network in Los Angeles (operators, 1st/2nd ACs, DITs, etc.)
• Comfortable collaborating closely with the director, producers, and post-production team

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools in production or post-production
• Experience or working knowledge of VFX pipelines and VFX-friendly shooting practices
• Experience with modern digital cinema cameras and post workflows
• A minimum of Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in Cinematography or equivalent extensive experience shooting feature films

Compensation

Negotiable for the right candidate. Pay starts from $8,000.00 per month.
