Job Description

Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Editor/Graphics Designer who builds original and creative static and animated assets for live streams, marketing, and monetization efforts for the FAST channel, and edits creative elements, including streaming content, digital, and social assets. The ideal candidate will have a dual passion for design and the ability to bring a creative, contemporary approach to various projects, including both campaigns and independent deliverables. This role involves enhancing elements from on-air graphics to promotional spots for marketing and branding and requires a high level of customer service with a solutions-oriented approach.

This position is part of our Flex Workforce, working on a project-to-project basis supporting a variety of leading media and technology clients. Work may vary in cadence, length, and scope depending on client needs, offering flexibility, exposure to top-tier companies, and the opportunity to grow skills across multiple exciting assignments.

Estimated schedule: 8-10 hours/day, 4-5 days/week for 1-2 months, project-based, with specific schedules varying by project and client engagement.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

• Create and execute engaging, impactful, and unique design solutions utilizing brand assets and identity guidelines.
• Design, develop and create static and animated 2D images from scratch.
• Create motion graphics, including lower thirds, locators, composited elements, end tags.
• Create graphic layouts and/or animations for various digital video and social media platforms.
• Responsible for creating and compositing images and effects.
• Edit fast-paced, thumb-stopping trailers and promos (15s–2min), following brand and creative guidelines.
• Create platform-native versions optimized for Prime Video, Fire TV, TikTok, Reels, Stories, YouTube, and paid media.
• Edit motion graphics, lower-thirds, product animations, and basic graphic design packages in After Effects.
• Fluent in FAST Channel ecosystem, executing on projects as needed.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, designers, copywriters, and videographers.
• Articulate creative vision and design rationale to team members.
• Work with Producers and clients to design style frames, build storyboards, animate, and composite video graphics and illustrations.
• Collaborate with project managers to update project status, review edits and/or feedback from the client.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to high creative standards and best practices.
• Maintain organized project assets.

Required Education and Experience:

• 5-7 years related experience in graphic design and animation.
• Expertise with Adobe After Effects.
• Skills in Photoshop, Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max or equivalent 3D package.
• Mastery of DaVinci Resolve (Edit pages).
• Adobe After Effects skills for motion graphics, typography, and VFX.
• Knowledge of post-production and live TV processes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of motion/graphic and design best practices for online platforms, including delivery specifications and workflows.

Compensation

This project-based role offers an hourly pay rate of $60-75/hour depending on experience.
