Job Description
This role involves creating and editing engaging video content for a YouTube channel focused on high-design homes and construction. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about YouTube’s best practices, ensuring that the videos are tailored for the platform and resonate with viewers.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Film construction site content (with B-roll, interviews, voiceovers)
- Edit videos optimized for YouTube (hooks, pacing, jump cuts, captions)
- Create thumbnails + titles (optional)
- Edit vertical versions for Shorts
Required Skills:
- Proven YouTube editing experience (links to channels)
- Understanding of YouTube retention (hooks, pacing)
- Camera & sound experience on site
- Basic storytelling sense (episodic)
Nice to Have:
- SEO knowledge
- Thumbnail design skills
- Analytics understanding
Additional Information
Deliverables: Weekly videos + short clips
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $17.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
