Job Description

Victory Home Remodeling is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer / Film Editor—an innovative and detail-oriented visual artist to transform raw footage, brand assets, and conceptual ideas into high-quality content. The role involves editing Victory’s films (social, brand, internal, commercial) and designing motion graphics to enhance storytelling. Collaboration with the Media Production team is essential, executing creative briefs, and delivering post-production content that aligns with Victory’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Editing & Motion Design

• Edit short-form and long-form video projects with strong pacing, narrative clarity, emotional resonance, and appropriate music.
• Design impactful motion graphics for brand campaigns, social media content, internal communications, and commercials.
• Execute color correction, sound design, and final delivery with high polish.
• Animate lower thirds, titles, transitions, and graphic packages in accordance with brand guidelines.

Operational Excellence

• Deliver all projects on time while maintaining elite quality standards.
• Maintain organized project files and version control.
• Follow precise post-production workflows and naming conventions.
• Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency across edits and motion design systems.

Creative Collaboration

• Work closely with the Media Production Manager and Creative leadership to understand project objectives.
• Provide insights and creative solutions during pre-production, storyboarding, and ideation.
• Communicate clearly across teams to ensure clarity and successful execution.
• Collaborate with videographers, producers, and brand creatives on storytelling and style.

Output Expectations

• Edit and animate 6–12 films per quarter (mix of short- and long-form).
• Create motion graphics packages for key company events and campaigns.
• Support daily/weekly content creation for social media and internal communications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional editing and motion graphics experience (agency, in-house, or freelance).
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Demonstrated understanding of pacing, typography, color, composition, and sound.
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating editing, animation, and storytelling expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, proactive collaboration, and a detail-oriented approach.
