children's book ages 8-12 story and instructional manual on swimming and diving board tricks [Urgent]

We are looking for an illustrator to create around 40-45 realistic illustrations for a children’s book designed for ages 8-12 about swimming and diving board tricks. The artwork must feature anatomically correct poses, realistic human likenesses (not cartoonish with oversized features), and dynamic action scenes of divers, usually in mid-air above a diving board. Illustrations will be required from various perspectives, including front, side, and back views. The project includes a sample assignment to illustrate ‘Ana,’ an 11-year-old Latinx girl with specific features and attire, in a vibrant, realistic style. The project deadline for all illustrations is March 30, 2026, with the aim to publish in spring 2026. Ideal candidates should not use AI in their process, and previous experience in swimming or diving is helpful but not essential. Work will be conducted remotely for a publishing company led by a first-time author and retired psychologist.

Who are you, and what do you do?
I’m a retired psychologist and first time author. I’ve been diving and doing tricks off the diving board for over 20 years. I’ve been giving direct lessons to people. Now I want to put those in a children’s book for ages 8-12, but that adults could use, too.
