The data developer role is a critical hire aimed at ensuring data integration and workflows enable the business’s success. The role requires fine-tuned database design/development experience to optimize and enhance existing data processes.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize database(s)
• Write stored procedures and ETL packages to support database activities
• Design and build environments using Azure
• Support views, reports, stored procedure, and job creation to assist end users and software development solutions
• Support data manipulation, generation, and cleanup requirements
• Manage the evolution of database environments throughout the software development cycle
• Monitor and troubleshoot operational database system issues
• Collaborate with application developers to deliver value to end users

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a SQL Developer
• 1 year of experience in an agile/iterative development environment

Essential Job Functions

• Proficiency with SQL Server 2019/22, SQL, and ETL skills
• Knowledge of best practices for no-SQL databases
• Some experience/knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB
• Strong SQL proficiency and optimization skills for complex statements
• Knowledge of best practices for relational databases
• Ability to configure popular database engines and orchestrate clusters
• Capability to troubleshoot common database issues
• Familiarity with tools for profiling server resource usage and optimization
• Experience with log analytics processing, monitoring, and alerting
