Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create compelling visual designs using digital design tools, ensuring alignment with brand identity and project goals.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders and development teams.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure websites are mobile-friendly and accessible on all devices.
• Collaborate with developers to translate visual concepts into functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular.
• Optimize website performance through SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics.
• Maintain and update existing websites using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal, ensuring smooth website maintenance and content updates.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance user experience (UX) and ensure web accessibility standards are met.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in digital design, interaction design, motion graphics, and visual design principles.
• Expertise in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and InVision.
• Solid understanding of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with wireframing tools like Balsamiq or Axure to plan user interfaces effectively.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices to create inclusive digital experiences.
• Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal), website maintenance tasks, and responsive web design techniques.
• Data analysis skills using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design improvements and optimize user engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects efficiently.

Pay: $23.78 - $28.64 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
