Job Description

UAA Productions is hiring a camera operator for a reality-style series (On The Run with Greene) filming real-world, fast-moving situations. This is run-and-gun, documentary/reality style — not staged content. We need someone calm under pressure who can capture clean, steady footage and strong audio in unpredictable environments.

Requirements

• Must be 18+ and able to pass a basic background check (if needed for production)
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Comfortable working flexible hours (some evenings/weekends)
• Professional attitude — this is real, not scripted

What You’ll Do

• Operate camera in real-world environments (outdoor, night, vehicle, mixed lighting)
• Capture clean dialogue and usable nat sound (lav/shotgun basics)
• Follow action safely and responsibly (situational awareness is a must)
• Manage basic gear workflow: batteries, cards, file labeling, quick backups
• Work closely with producer/talent to get the shots without slowing momentum
• Be reliable, on time, and able to move quickly when the call comes in

Ideal Experience

• Doc/reality/news/field videography background
• Comfortable filming handheld and on the move (stabilization experience a plus)
• Knows how to get usable sound in the field
• Understands framing, continuity, and storytelling coverage
• Strong judgment: knows when not to film or when to reposition for safety

Denver / Front Range (travel within Colorado as needed)

Type

Contract / Part-time to start (with the opportunity to grow into recurring weekly work)

Pay

Competitive — based on experience (day rate or hourly). Pay range: $19.29 - $20.00 per hour. Please include your rate in your application.

We have production gear available (pro mics and cameras). If you own gear, list what you have — but owning gear is not required.
