Job Description

We are seeking a Professional Legal Videographer to provide video recording services for sworn depositions conducted on behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The videographer works closely with court reporters and attorneys to ensure accurate, compliant video records of proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Record depositions using professional video equipment in compliance with federal standards
• Manage live video streaming and recording during remote depositions
• Ensure deponents remain properly framed and visible
• Pause and resume recordings during on- and off-the-record discussions
• Provide time-stamping and synchronization with transcripts upon request
• Conduct equipment testing prior to proceedings
• Ensure secure handling and delivery of recorded media

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in legal or deposition videography
• Proficiency with professional audio-visual recording equipment
• Familiarity with remote deposition platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Adobe Connect)
• Ability to follow courtroom and attorney instructions precisely
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills

Additional Requirements

• Availability for full-day proceedings (minimum 3-hour billing blocks)
• Ability to work in federal facilities, including secure locations

Compliance with confidentiality and chain-of-custody requirements
