Role: Senior IT Specialist (State Government Experience - Very Highly Preferred)

Client: Government of North Carolina (NCDHHS)

eSystems Inc. is a fast-growing Systems Integrator providing strategic IT solutions and services. They seek a Senior IT Specialist for a project to replace an on-premises custom-built incident reporting application with a web-based system on the SimpliGov platform.

Requirements

• 10 years minimum experience in IT, with a proven track record of delivering projects under aggressive timelines.
• Experience configuring and building complex workflow automation applications using low-code/no-code platforms.
• Experience developing custom objects, workflows, validation & business rules, and trigger notifications.
• Any System Administrator or Developer certifications are preferred.
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio), Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports.
• Experience with integration tools such as Boomi.
• Experience with data conversion.
• Experience managing Active Directory integrations and SSO integrations.
• Experience with SharePoint end-user experience and management.
• Previous experience in State/Government ecosystems, preferably in Healthcare/Mental Health/Medicare & Medicaid environments.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with software implementation projects and Cloud technologies.
• Ability to evaluate existing .NET applications and modernize them on platforms like SimpliGov, Power Apps or ServiceNow.
• Experience migrating on-prem SQL Server databases to Azure Cloud, including schema migration, ETL, and validation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, and Blob Storage.
• Experience in managing project risk, cost, schedule, quality, and communications.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience with vendor management on medium to large IT projects.
• Results-oriented, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
