Job Description

Rank Media is a performance-driven SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) agency focused on sustainable growth, measurable outcomes, and future-proof search strategies. We are looking for an SEO Specialist & Content Strategist who can own execution, support strategy, and contribute to high-quality, conversion-focused content. This role blends SEO execution, content strategy, reporting, and writing and requires working closely with senior strategists to implement initiatives, create content briefs, write optimized content, and report on performance across traditional and AI-driven search environments.

This is not a pure writing role nor a junior checklist role; we seek someone who understands why SEO tasks are done, not just how to do them.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in SEO and content marketing
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO and content optimization
• Experience creating SEO content briefs and writing long-form content
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar
• Ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable recommendations
• Excellent written English and attention to detail

Should Also Have

• Experience with AEO, AI search, or structured data (FAQ, schema)
• Experience in healthcare, ecommerce, or B2B SEO
• Basic understanding of technical SEO concepts
• Experience working in an agency environment

Additional Information

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Execution & Strategy Support:
• Execute on-page SEO tasks (meta titles, descriptions, headers, internal linking)
• Assist in SEO and AEO strategy creation for new and existing clients
• Support keyword research, topic clustering, and search intent mapping
• Identify optimization opportunities across content, structure, and performance
• Implement technical SEO recommendations alongside internal teams
• Content Strategy & Brief Creation:
• Create SEO-driven content briefs for blogs, landing pages, and service pages
• Map keywords to intent, funnel stage, and conversion goals
• Structure content for both traditional SEO and AI extractability (AEO)
• Define internal linking, FAQs, schema opportunities, and content hierarchy
• Content Writing:
• Write high-quality, SEO-optimized content (blogs, landing pages, service pages)
• Balance search intent, brand voice, and conversion best practices
• Optimize existing content through refreshes, rewrites, and expansions
• Write with clarity, authority, and structure suitable for AI search engines
• Reporting & Performance Tracking:
• Prepare SEO performance reports (traffic, rankings, conversions, visibility)
• Track content performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Support AI search visibility tracking (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini where applicable)
• Translate data into clear insights and action items for internal teams
• Collaboration & Process:
• Work closely with SEO Strategists, Account Managers, and Content teams
• Follow Rank Media SOPs, trackers, and documentation standards
• Contribute to internal process improvements and SEO playbooks
