Job Description

We seek a skilled Web Developer to be the architect of our online presence, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our suite of WordPress websites to turn our vision into reality.

Key Responsibilities

1. WordPress Development & Maintenance: Build and manage responsive websites using WordPress and WP Bakery, ensuring flawless implementation of designs, managing plugin governance, creating backups, and optimizing sites for speed.
2. Technical SEO Skills: Enhance online visibility through semantic HTML, header hierarchies, schema markup, and structured metadata for maximizing search rankings and chatbot indexing.
3. Conversion Optimization & Tracking: Implement A/B tests, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) changes, and optimize CTAs to improve user journeys and conversion rates.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be a clean and efficient developer with precision in bringing designs to life. A deep understanding of structuring sites for both traditional SEO and AI-driven platforms is crucial. Quick troubleshooting skills in staging or live environments and optimizing sites for speed are required.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of WordPress development experience.
• Fluent in WordPress, WP Bakery, HTML5, CSS3, and Gutenberg.
• Experience working in hosting environments like WP Engine or Kinsta.
• Comfortable with staging workflows and the fundamentals of technical SEO.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with AI-indexed optimization (structured data, schema, voice search).
• A background in working with healthcare or recruiting websites.

Success Metrics (First 6 Months)

• Successfully launch core websites focusing on functionality and optimization.
• Significantly improve site speed and accessibility scores (Google Lighthouse benchmarks).
• Build reusable WP Bakery components and template systems.
• Ensure core pages are structured for visibility in Google and AI chatbot platforms.
