Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Instructors to join our team at our active lesson center dedicated to providing quality, one-on-one music lessons to students of all ages and levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong music background and the ability to customize music lessons for each student.
Responsibilities
- Commit to weekly, private lessons for 6-10 students
- Provide instruction in technique, music theory, reading, aural skills, and improvisation
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
- Customize curriculum unique to each student based on interest and learning style
- Maintain excellent rapport and communication with both students and parents
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in music preferred
- Previous experience teaching or working with students in music instruction
- Proficiency in sight reading, music theory, technique fundamentals, performance practices, basic piano methods, and aural skills
- Strong lesson planning skills to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
