Acting OK (executive producer for POC and Future episodes)

Executive Producer is needed in South Korea.

We are developing ‘Acting OK’, a bilingual mockumentary drama set in a struggling drama academy in Seoul. The series explores identity, anxiety, and imposter syndrome through raw, handheld storytelling and intimate confessionals. The project combines humor and vulnerability, drawing inspiration from shows like The Office and Sex Education, to capture the challenges of young adulthood in an emotionally honest way. We are looking for an executive producer based in South Korea who can support the creative and production process, help secure funding, and guide the project through its international co-production and distribution plans. Filming is scheduled to begin on February 14, and we need a confirmed executive producer ASAP for funding and application deadlines. The show is designed for grassroots screenings, domestic platforms, and global expansion.

Acting OK is a television series in development by Ryan and Leah, created to champion mental health, raise awareness, and spark meaningful conversations around identity, anxiety, and imposter syndrome. More than just a show, our vision is to position Acting OK—alongside future projects—as a platform for creative entrepreneurs, empowering them to refine their craft while uplifting and serving the broader artistic community in Seoul, South Korea. To bring this mission to life, we are producing a proof of concept (POC) episode that will serve as a foundation to secure funding for the full series and future installments. In tandem, we are establishing Rocket World Entertainment, an independent production company dedicated to bold storytelling, collaborative growth, and building a sustainable home for innovative projects that embrace authenticity and vulnerability.
