Job Description

We’re hiring a Seasonal Photographer in El Paso, TX to support Vado Speedway Park! The Photographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering high-quality images that align with brand standards and business objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise in professional camera operation and post-production using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, along with an eye for composition, lighting, and detail.

Schedule details:

This role is seasonal and work is expected to run between February 2026 - November 2026, with the expectation that the Videographer will work approximately 20 hours per week based on the needs of Vado Speedway Park. Candidates must have very flexible availability to work Friday - Monday for both day and night shifts dependent on the event schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Working with a Content Writer or collaborative team to identify the needs in support of the expected project outcome.
• Operate professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras to capture high-quality photos in various environments.
• Plan and execute photo shoots, including setup of lighting, equipment, and backgrounds.
• Edit and enhance images using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to meet brand and quality standards.
• Perform color correction, retouching, cropping, and image optimization.
• Manage digital files, including organizing, naming, and archiving photos.
• Collaborate with internal teams or clients to understand creative requirements and timelines.
• Ensure consistent visual style across all photography projects.
• Maintain photography equipment and recommend upgrades or repairs as needed.
• Meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that is above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to photography equipment.
• Solid understanding of lighting, composition, and color theory.
• Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and visual quality.
• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
• Record keeping and organizational skills.

Additional Information

Vado Speedway Park is a 3/8 mile semi-banked clay oval and hosts weekly dirt track racing action on most Saturday nights from February through November. The track is also home to several non-racing events, including Monster Truck shows and a holiday light display.
