Always Almost - Animated Short
Always Almost is an approximately 3–5 minute, festival-focused animated short about two souls who keep almost finding each other across different times and forms, exploring human, machine, and other possibilities. The film is intimate and emotional, focusing on mood, pacing, and visual storytelling rather than heavy dialogue or spectacle. I am seeking an animator or early-career artist who can manage sequences from start to finish, enjoys narrative and emotion-driven stories, and is comfortable with styles such as stylized 2D, minimalist 3D, or motion-comic. The scope is modest with simple environments, limited characters, and no complex lip-sync. I appreciate portfolios or reels and a note on preferred tools or style; clarity and enthusiasm are prioritized.
