Job Description

We are searching for a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain C# program code for both future and ongoing projects. Additionally, you will contribute to design and planning sessions and formulate approaches for current coding tasks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server. Candidates must have experience with large menu-driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications. Knowledge in transferring data between application screens, and performing order-entry type transactions is essential, as we do not use APIs.

C# Developer Responsibilities

• Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
• Creating in-house applications using the .NET framework.
• Debugging and maintaining written code (no APIs).
• Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
• Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
• Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
• Working in a project team alongside other developers.
• Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
• Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
• Participating in project meetings with management and other team members.

C# Developer Requirements

• C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher)
• Angular (gRPC would be a plus)
• SQL Server
• Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
• Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer
• Knowledge of other coding languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) would be a plus
• Ability to write clean, easy to understand code
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision
• Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary
• Sound understanding of coding and development processes
• Experience with working in an agile environment

Additional Information

NOTE: Hybrid Role, candidates must be able to work on site as needed. The first month will be onsite, transitioning to a maximum of two days a week remote.
