Job Description

We’re looking for a charismatic, confident videographer who can do more than shoot great video. You can coach high-level business owners through scripted talking points and help them deliver lines naturally and comfortably on camera. This role requires someone who is part videographer, part on-set director, part client confidence coach. The #1 priority is your ability to make clients feel at ease, keep energy high, and guide them to clean, usable script delivery without making it feel stiff or awkward.

• Client feels comfortable, confident, and supported during filming
• Scripted lines are delivered clearly, naturally, and efficiently
• Footage is clean, well-shot, well-lit, properly mic’d, and consistent
• Files are organized and uploaded quickly, with minimal back-and-forth

Responsibilities

Client Coaching + On-Set Direction (Most Important)

• Lead high-level business owners through scripts/prompts in a way that feels natural
• Give confident, respectful direction while maintaining an upbeat, calming presence
• Help clients with:
• pacing and tone
• confidence and energy
• line memorization / reading without sounding robotic
• subtle coaching (“say it like this,” “hit this word,” “shorter/longer,” etc.)
• Create a relaxed environment while maintaining high efficiency and momentum

Production + Filming

• Arrive prepared with a reliable minimal kit and set up quickly
• Capture talking head / vlog-style footage with strong framing and audio quality
• Manage lighting for a clean, professional look (simple but effective)
• Use gimbal for movement shots when needed
• Adjust quickly in real-world environments (offices, job sites, homes, etc.)

File Management + Uploading

• Offload footage reliably after shoots
• Maintain clean organization:
• proper folder structure
• consistent naming conventions
• audio/video synced and easy to find
• Upload footage quickly to the required platform (Google Drive / Frame.io / Dropbox, etc.)

Required Equipment (Must Have)

• Professional camera capable of clean 4K footage (or excellent 1080 with strong lens + lighting)
• Wireless mic setup (ex: DJI Mic / Rode Wireless / equivalent)
• Gimbal (DJI Ronin / Zhiyun / equivalent)
• Small lighting kit (key light + soft modifier at minimum)
• Extra batteries, media, chargers — no “waiting on gear” delays

Core Skills / Traits (Non-Negotiable)

• Naturally charismatic and personable — clients like you immediately
• Comfortable talking to executives/owners and directing respectfully
• Clear communicator with a confident presence
• Calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent
• Organized, efficient, and professional on-site
• Able to keep filming moving fast without sacrificing quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience filming business owners, leadership, entrepreneurs, service companies
• Experience directing scripted brand videos, ads, VSL-style talking head content
• Basic editing ability (helpful but not required)
• Comfortable capturing b-roll for transitions and storytelling

• This is not a passive “press record” videographer role; you are expected to direct and guide performance.
